Acrylic beads
They are availble in a standard range of up to 10 colours shown below or you can dye them. The unique characteristic about these beads is - they can be dyed (by you) to the colour you choose. The colour is absorbed into the plastic but is not washable. It ideally suits "sun catchers" and other decorative projects. Using a easily available dyes - you get vibrant clear colours - especially, sapphire blue, light red, lemon and green.

How to dye acrylic beads.
Using Dye can be dangerous - ensure that you carefully read the instructions on the bottle. My choice is "RIT" liquid dye. Using an old glass jam jar, fill to about 25% with "RIT liquid dye", carefully put beads to just below the level of the dye...then cover with glass plate, place in Microwave until it starts to boil. Then allow to cool.

Standard colours from the factory for acrylic rondells are; Pink, Hot Pink, Green, Blue, Yellow,Orange, Clear, Purple, Red
